A wrinkled receipt, found in a puddle and therefore immediately promoted to the status of evidence, has sent the forum ladies and gents into a right tizzy.
According to absolutely nobody in a position to know anything, the paper's faint ink apparently shows prices for "boat horn calibration", "pelican snack tax", and "premium towel reuse", which observers describe as "not nothing".
One expert with a spreadsheet and too much time said the listing "pretty much confirms" five distinct boat horn sounds, ranging from "polite toot" to "industrial apology".
The same source also insists the pelican is "either a mascot, a menace, or both", and may be seen judging players near docks, diners, and emotionally vulnerable chips.
Rock-solid evidence? Not remotely. Excellent pub chat? Undoubtedly.
