The latest rumour from the local end of nowhere concerns a biscuit tin left on a bench beside a fictional bus stop, which locals insist has been “positioned with intent”.
Witnesses say the tin was neither moving nor speaking, but nevertheless gave off what one man called “main character vibes”. Another added that it “looked like it knew about a mission already”.
Within minutes, the entire pavement had decided the tin must be linked to a new activity chain, most likely involving deliveries, missed connections, or a dramatic misunderstanding about custard creams.
A passing child claimed the tin rattled “when the bus braked”, which was immediately elevated to hard evidence by people who absolutely should know better. A pensioner then proposed that the whole affair was “obviously” a setup for a seaside chase, due to the tin’s “aggressive silver shimmer”.
At press time, the biscuit tin remained exactly where it was, minding its own business and providing a very poor foundation for advanced theory-making.
