Customers at a Vice City cafe were left stunned after one man, apparently trying to keep things simple, asked for 'the usual' and was immediately trapped in a discussion about fillings, ratios and what counts as toast.

The cashier, who witnesses say had the calm but dangerous expression of someone who has worked in hospitality for years, replied: 'There is no usual. There is only what you can explain under pressure.'

By minute seven, two strangers had joined in to argue whether mayonnaise is a sauce, a mood, or a warning sign.

By minute ten, a decorative avocado on the menu board was said to be 'sending messages'. No one has been able to confirm this, but nobody has ruled it out either.

The man eventually received a sandwich, though reports differ on whether it was food or a lesson.

A small crowd then gathered outside to debate the matter in the rain, as is customary in Vice City whenever lunch becomes serious.
