The latest so-called clip has arrived looking as if it was uploaded by a suspiciously confident seagull. It shows a parking meter wearing a leather jacket, standing under a palm tree and staring into the middle distance like it has just been told it owns the coastline.
According to no-one in particular, the meter is seen tapping its little top cap against a console and apparently choosing between ‘light drizzle’, ‘dramatic sunset’ and ‘absolutely not, mate’. We have not been able to verify any of this, because it is almost certainly nonsense.
Fans online have already done what fans online do best, namely announcing that the meter’s reflective panel is ‘obviously a clue’. One commenter insisted the whole thing proves Vice City will feature dynamic weather, while another said it proves the parking meter has been to drama school.
Our analysis is simple: if this is real, then the rain is in trouble. If it is not real, then the parking meter still deserves an agent, a stylist and possibly a small umbrella of its own.
