A new ‘clip’ doing the rounds appears to show a jet ski in a cravat hovering beside a marina noticeboard, pointing at letters with the determination of a council planner who has had one too many fizzy lemonades.

According to nobody credible at all, the machine is seen assembling a welcome sign, then immediately rejecting it because the font was ‘too shouty for a waterfront of this calibre’.

The footage, if it can be called that, is said to confirm absolutely nothing except that someone has strong opinions about docking etiquette and decorative knotwear.

Viewers are advised to treat the scene as a joke, a fantasy, or possibly a regional tourism campaign for extremely confident sea transport.

At this stage, the only thing truly leaked is an alarming amount of imagination and perhaps a little seawater.
