The latest wave of completely imaginary market analysis suggests Vice City is heading for a leadership shift nobody asked for: a potted palm in loafers, allegedly positioning itself as the future face of drive-thru etiquette.
According to the sort of people who can turn a parking-lot shrug into a thesis, the palm’s presence signals a broader change in local power structures. If a decorative plant can lean confidently against a menu board, the argument goes, then no role in the city is truly safe.
The theory is built on three pillars: shade, branding, and an apparent willingness to stand very still while others panic. That, analysts claim, makes the palm an ideal candidate to arbitrate disputes over nugget distribution, lane merging, and which window is ‘the proper window’.
Some commentators have gone further, predicting a full cultural reset in which drive-thru staff must now address all customers with botanical respect. ‘Welcome, sir. Please proceed to the next frond,’ is one suggested future slogan, though nobody knows who approved it or why.
As ever, this is all gloriously made up, but it has not stopped investors in nonsense from treating the palm as if it were a blue-chip asset. Vice City, it seems, will always find a way to overthink a sandwich queue.
